Deep tissue massage uses slow, firm pressure to work the deeper layers of the muscles in your back, neck and shoulders. At Alphabiotismo Playa you can have it on its own or combined with the alphabiotic alignment for MX$1,000.
What it is
It is a massage with firm pressure and a slow rhythm. Unlike a relaxing spa massage, it focuses on tight areas to release built-up muscle tension.
It is done by Karla, a massage therapist on our team. The session takes about 50 minutes and costs MX$800.
Massage and alignment together
When your muscles are very tight, we do the massage first to loosen them, followed by the alphabiotic alignment. It is the most complete combination we offer, and it costs MX$1,000.
What it feels like
The pressure is firm. In some areas you may feel some discomfort, but it should not hurt: you set the limit, and we adjust the pressure whenever you ask. The next day your muscles may feel sore, as they might after exercise.
